Not sure which turbo is the correct turbo for your Nissan Patrol TD42 4.2L?

First of all, let's see is it a GU(Y61) or GQ(Y60)? It can simply be sorted by the year, basically GQ=before 1997, GU=after 1997.

If it is a GU TD42, the the factory turbo is HT18.

If it is a GQ TD42, the it is a N/A, but it is common to see many GQ TD42 have got an aftermarket turbo fitted.
