Why choose titanium fasteners?

Titanium studs are 45% lighter and stronger than your regular steel stud and nut combo you can find at your local bolt shop. The high strength and super light weight Ti 6AI-4V grade (Grade 5) studs are the perfect replacement for turbo manifolds, exhaust headers or intakes. Grade 5 Titanium fasteners can withstand temperatures over 400 degrees and are exceptionally strong.

The use of factory OEM studs and nuts they can result in stripped or broken bolts and inadequate clamping force, resulting in leaks. It is common for the factory manifold studs to come loose and fail over time due to the heat cycles produced by the cylinder head, and this can become a bigger issue especially when you are using aftermarket bolt-ons. 

We recommend changing your studs to titanium studs, it is also perfect upgrade for your factory studs when chasing more power.
